Centro de Arte Público was an American arts organization and collective founded in 1977 and closed in 1979 in Highland Park neighborhood in Los Angeles, California, U.S.
CAP producing works that focused on Los Angeles street scenes.
CAP's former building was declared a Los Angeles Historic-Cultural Monument on August 24, 2021.
Centro Arte Público (CAP) featuring the work of artists Victor Manuel Valle, Carlos Almaraz, Guillermo-Wm. Bejarano, Barbara Carrasco, Richard Duardo, Dolores Guerrero, Judithe Hernández, Leo Limón, John Valadez, Frank Romero, Roberto Gil de Montes and George Yepes, and other associates. 1977–80.
