Click!...Here for Returning To My Front Page BIOGRAPHY I gradulated with Bacholor of Arts's of Chicano Studies and Fine Arts "Painting" from the California State University, Northridge (1975). During my time at CSU, I was given an internship in Mexico to study Muralism, and the Pre-Columbian Arts. After graduation, I helped develop the Public Arts Center of LA/Highland Park, and as a participant of "El Concilio de Arte Popular" (a state-wide coalition of "Xicano" artists and community art centers), I worked (artistic coordinator) in production of "ChismeArte" magazines funded by the California Arts Council and National Endowment for the Arts. 1971–1990, I was hired in numerious commerical magaines as an Associate or as an Art Director. (An artistic gap in my career as a painter). 1990, I started a business called "Image Bureau" that provided graphic arts and pre-press services. 1998, I returned to practice fine arts. I also became involved in anti-war activism. 1998, I became an Artist-In-Residence for the California Museum of Photography where I was awarded a distinction in digital arts. AWARDS: 2007: I founded the "networkaztlan.com": An Internet social network, and media group Awarded. "Mención Honorifica Premio Comunidades Transnacionales", "CNCA. Mexico City, Mexico". 2007: Best of Show by San Jose Tech Museum for Digital Murals.
